at the age of 15, Andressa Urach began a romance in a relationship with Tiago Costa. After about three months of being together, they went to live with him in his home. The couple was blessed with an unmarried child named Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19, 2005. Following disagreements over marriage, they separated in 2008, after six years of being together. Andressa relocated with her son in the house of her mother. After a period of six months, separation, she lost her job, and then took the decision to let her son go with his father in order to look to find a better job in Sao Paulo however, being extremely ambitious and vain, her primary goal in leaving her home in the South was to be famous and rich. Andressa Urach, in the book Morri Par Viver states that her foster grandfather had abused her right from the time she was 2 years old until when she reached age eight. Her only chance to be free of the abuse due to her foster mother's catching her in the act, and Andressa moved back in with her mother, who did not realize the abuse she endured until Andressa released her book. The author said that, prior to the time she experienced a spiritual awakening, it was difficult for her forgiveness to her the abuser. One of the most difficult decisions I ever made was to contact the person who had abused me sexually. This wasn't easy to make. It wasn't easy. After many prayers and fasts, I informed him on the phone that I was forgiven him. I did not feel guilty and asked his forgiveness. My request for forgiveness was not a justification. Mariste Urach explains in an interview for Globo her feelings after learning of the sexism her daughter been subjected to. She headed to the interior city of Rio Grande do Sul, where the pedophile was a resident, for revenge.
