Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and entrepreneur. Her most well-known role was as Emily Fields from the Freeform television series Pretty Little Liars. In Toronto she was enrolled in acting classes after having success in dancing and modeling. After landing a couple of commercials and guest roles in the television seriesMitchell was able to get her first big breakthrough when she was chosen as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. Mitchell attended Rockridge Secondary School before moving onto West Vancouver Secondary. At the end of her teenage years she was already modeling for various companies across the globe. She traveled to Barcelona and Bangkok before returning to Toronto for a course in acting.
