
America Georgine Ferrera is an American actress who made her debut as famous for her part in the well-known television show, 'Ugly'. Interested in acting since she was in high school, she performed in several school productions, and came into the spotlight with her debut feature film "Real women have curves". In addition, her role in the film 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' earned an increased amount of attention but she was also praised by critics for portraying the protagonist in the tv show 'Ugly Betty that earned several Best Actress Awards, including the Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Primetime Emmy Award. Congresswoman Hilda L. Solis called her "a figure model" for the next generation of Hispanics working in the entertainment industry for her unique performance in "Ugly Betty". As a passionate supporter of 'Save the Children's Campaign, she also serves as an ambassador of it.
